A Little About Me
A little bit about me! I live in Canada and have been working at major ad agencies in Toronto for the past 20 years.
I started my career exclusively in the radio buying department and I’ve been lucky to manage radio campaigns for many multi-million dollar accounts over the years.
I’ve been responsible for spending over a hundred million dollars getting client’s ads to air across Canada the United States and even Mexico.
I’ve provided accountability on each campaign and kept a pulse on industry regulations and processes along the way. I’ve chaired industry boards, was part of bringing in new measurement regulations, and provided valuable input for the creation of industry software. There are only a handful of people with this niche position and I’ve loved every step of the way!
The industry perks aren’t bad, either! Agency life isn’t too far off how it’s portrayed on TV. Lots of drinks, parties, golf and rubbing shoulders with celebrities. But the fun balances off the craziness that unfolds on any given day at work with client demands, unrealistic deadlines and lots of overtime!
Advertising is a wild industry and I’m going to save you the grey hair and wrinkles that come with more than two decades of hitting the agency grind. Let’s start off with how I’ll fast-track you through what’s taken me over 20 years to learn!
